In 2016, wine spritzers had already had their moment—think 1980s, DIY summer refreshers, “Riunite on ice—so nice!” and your grandma’s Bartles and Jaymes wine cooler-type vibes. Sure, it might sound a little dated, but there’s something timeless about it. Because sometimes, what’s old isn’t just nostalgic—it’s a mark of quality, simplicity, and enduring charm.

At the same time (back in 2016), millennials were at the height of their cultural influence. They were redefining consumption—choosing brands that aligned with their values, aesthetics, and lifestyles. They wanted transparency, wellness, sustainability, and storytelling. They gravitated toward products that felt personal, ethical, and shareable. Blossom Brothers Wine Spritzers were crafted to meet that moment: approachable, design-forward, and rooted in the laid-back sophistication of the Pacific Northwest. Local, handcrafted, small-batch, and made with love—basically, all things millennial.

So yes, wine spritzers might feel a little retro—but in that “old thing you still love because it’s just that good” kind of way. (which, btw, is exactly how I feel about this project and why it is still in my portfolio)

Cheers!
